I've been working on this one for a couple of weeks now, and I think it's actually one of my favorites that I've done yet. There was also an oil painting version that I had originally started--but I wasn't liking how it was turning out, and so focused on this digital version instead.
I contemplated the idea of releasing this as a larger original instead of going the open edition print route, but I've been finding that creating the originals themselves is very aggravating in terms of trying not to mess up each step of the process. I tend to ruin a lot of material and art supplies haha!
I don't exactly know what the meaning behind this one is. I've been very discouraged with a lot about life lately, so maybe this is just my subconscious's way of dealing with things without directly dealing with things.
I plan to do more weirder ones like this coming up. They're a lot of fun.
